1. AIM:
   

Facilitate and guarantee a clear and effective process for Dr. Zamir Paez’s patients to request a refund of payments made.

2. SCOPE:
   

These policies apply to all decisions and actions related to the refund of payments made by Dr. Zamir Paez’s patients, as well as the requirements and procedures for cancellations. These decisions will be based on clear guidelines established by management, with the goal of providing a transparent, consistent and satisfactory process for patients.

3. GLOSSARY: 
   

• Refund: The act of returning a product or cancelling a service and receiving a refund or credit.
• Refund: The return of money paid for a product or service.
• Return Policy: A set of rules and guidelines established by the company that govern return procedures.
• Return Period: The period of time within which a return can be sent after receiving the return request.
  
  

4. GENERAL POLICIES FOR MONEY REFUND:
   
   

The money will only be returned to the person who took out the service if and only if the following requirements are met:

• Having acquired a service offered by Dr. Zamir Paez and having made full or partial payment for the value of the service.
• Not having taken the service for which you are requesting a refund, in whole or in part.
• Have in your possession all supporting documents for sending the money you are requesting back.
• Comply with the return policies available on Dr Zamir Paez’s website.
  
  

5. CANCELLATION POLICIES :
   
   

Cancellation policies are governed by the following conditions:

• Refunds for consultation cancellation: To request a consultation cancellation and receive a full refund, the client must cancel at least 72 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment. If the consultation cancellation is made less than 72 hours in advance, 50% of the amount paid for the consultation will be deducted for scheduling costs and the remaining 50% will be refunded.
• Refunds for surgery cancellation: Once the surgical slot has been reserved, if the decision is made to cancel the surgery between 8 and 30 days prior to the surgery date, a charge of $1,000,000 or 250 dollars (USD) will be applied for costs related to the scheduling and reservation of the surgical slot, plus the costs for exams, applications, medications, nursing or any other expense, as well as the bank charges incurred by the patient that have been used and contracted with Dr. Zamir Paez. The remaining amount will be refunded.
  If the decision is made to cancel the surgery less than 8 days prior to the surgery date, a charge of $3,000,000 or 750 dollars (USD) will be applied for costs related to scheduling, reservation of the surgical slot and administrative expenses. Additionally, the patient must assume the costs of examinations, applications, medications, nursing or any other expense, as well as the bank charges incurred by the patient that have been used and contracted with Dr. Zamir Paez. The remaining amount will be reimbursed.
  In the event that the results of the medical examinations are not satisfactory, a 100% refund of the amount paid will be made, deducting the costs of examinations, applications, medications, nursing or any other expense, as well as the bank charges incurred by the patient that have been used and contracted with Dr. Zamir Paez.
• No-show: No refund will be made for missed consultations without prior cancellation. Money paid for the service will not be refundable.
• Non-attendance to surgery: Failure to attend surgery will be interpreted as cancellation of the surgery less than 8 days prior to the date of surgery. A fee of $3,000,000 or 750 dollars (USD) will be applied for costs related to scheduling, reservation of surgical space and administrative expenses. Additionally, the patient must assume the costs of tests, applications, medications, nursing or any other expense, as well as bank charges incurred by the patient that have been used and contracted with Dr. Zamir Paez. The remaining amount will be reimbursed.
  
  

6. MONEY BACK TERM
   
   

For all cases that meet the requirements for refunding the money, a maximum period of 15 business days is established, counted from the receipt of the request, to make the refund. In the event that the payments have been made in another currency, the refund will be made in Colombian pesos, considering the Representative Market Rate (TRM) in force on the date of receipt of the money.

Dr. Zamir Paez provides his services through the companies Instituto de Rejuvenecimiento SAS and Medicina y Cirugía Especializada de Colombia SAS.
